LA CAN is working to help the Skid Row community access handwashing facilities. We are working with Skid Row residents to deploy handwashing stations throughout the neighborhood. We will also keep track of the handwashing stations brought by the City and various organizations. Will you help us? Do you know a place on Skid Row where people can wash their hands? Use this form to report handwashing stations, and we will add them to the map below (in blue). If you know a place where a new one should be installed, where someone would be able to care for it, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we'll add that planned location in yellow. Soon, we will post ideas here about how you can help. This will include instructions for building DIY handwashing stations, lists of supplies we need, and stories about how your donations to LACAN are making a difference. Thank you for your support! This Handwashing Station Campaign is a collaboration with USC's COMM653 class "Research, Practice and Social Change".
